The primary protective components of fish oil are two long chain, highly polyunsaturated fatty acids called Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). With an EPA of 600 and a DHA of 400 our Mega Omega is almost twice as powerful as our standard omega-3 oil. Studies demonstrate that EPA and DHA positively affect a variety of conditions including coronary artery disease, and support blood pressure and triglyceride levels. Current studies demonstrate omega-3 fish oils ability to increase mental alertness and may play a role in emotional well being.
OL’s Omega-3 Fish Oils are obtained from fish found in cold, deep water. These fish provide more of the omega-3 factors (fatty acids) than other fish. Essential fatty acids are found in high concentrations in the brain, and are essential for nerve conduction and brain function.
