Native to southern China, Jiaogulan (pronounced jee-ow-goo-lahn) is a climbing vine in the gourd family. Traditionally consumed as a tea, it was often referred to as the “Immortality Herb” because the natives who consumed the tea has a history of unusual longevity. Jiaogulan is known as an adaptogen, a unique class of herbs that help support the body’s ability with stress.
