Our Story

Sofi Tucker started selling Shea Nuts at the village market in Bonthe, Sierra Leone in 1912. By age 19, the widowed mother of four was selling Shea Butter, African Black Soap and her homemade hair and skin preparations all over the countryside. Sofi Tucker was our Grandmother and SheaMoisture is her legacy. Through Community Commerce you help empower disadvantaged women to realize a brighter, healthier future.

Coconut Oil: Hydrates and protects while reducing frizz.

Agave Nectar: Smoothes hair for a soft, silky feel.

Flaxseed Oil: Rich in Omega-3 essential fatty acids. Flaxseed Oil promotes strength while imparting shine.

Uso Sugerido

Apply sparingly on wet or dry hair.
Comb through with a wide-tooth comb or fingers to shape curls.
For tight coils, kinky or wiry hair, or for twist out styles, apply to wet hair for maximum control and sealing properties.
Allow time to dry.
When using a blow-dryer choose a cool setting.
Apply to dry hair to reduce flyaways and frizz.
